General edit commands

This toolbar includes standard editing commands applicable to various objects in a planogram:

These are also available in Main Menu > Edit:

Undo (Edit)

Reverse one or several of your previous actions.

PlanogramBuilder supports multiple undo of planogram editing operations.

You can also undo text typed in text boxes when the mouse cursor is within the text box.

Redo (Edit)

Re-apply operations that were canceled by Undo (Edit).

PlanogramBuilder supports multiple redo actions of planogram editing operations.

You can also redo text typed in text boxes when the mouse cursor is within the text box.

Cut (Edit)

Remove the selected items and put them on the Clipboard.

Note: This command only applies to products and accessories.

Tip: You can cut items from the current project, then open another project and paste the items there.

Copy (Edit)

Put a copy of the selected items on the Clipboard.

Note: This command only applies to products and accessories.

Tip: You can copy items from the current project, then open another project and paste the items there.

Paste (Edit)

Insert items from the Clipboard in your project.

Instructions:

  1. Click on this command.
  2. Place your mouse cursor in the visualization area. Move your mouse over the shelf or the back panel where you want to paste the items. The cursor changes to indicate that you can paste here.
  3. Click on the exact desired location to paste the item.

Note: This command only applies to products and accessories.

Tip: You can copy items from the current project, then open another project and paste the items there.

Delete (Edit)

Delete the selected objects in the current project.

Note: Deleting shelving also deletes products and accessories which are placed thereon.
