Update PlanogramBuilder

PlanogramBuilder is updated on a regular basis to bring improvements.

Note: you will retain all your planograms and settings after installing PlanogramBuilder for an update.

Mandatory updates

Major versions

Approximately once a year, a major version of PlanogramBuilder is released and is mandatory to continue using the application.

In such case, you will be notified in advance as follows when launching PlanogramBuilder:

 

Instructions:

• To install the updated version, click OK and proceed as instructed (Install PlanogramBuilder).
• If you cannot install the application yourself, contact your IT to do it before the deadline date displayed. You can continue using the old version until then by clicking on Cancel.

Notes:

• Important: Not updating by the deadline will result in being stuck with the old version and unable to use PlanogramBuilder until the update is installed.
• Major updates also coincide with updated versions of the user guide.

Synchronize versions on all computers sharing a user

To avoid compatibility issues, if you are using the same user name on several computers, the application may ask you at launch to install another version if necessary (major or minor versions).

Optional updates

Minor versions of the software are rolled out on an ongoing basis to introduce new features and bug fixes.

You can download and re-install PlanogramBuilder at any time to obtain the most recent minor version. You may also be asked by our team to update to the latest version for troubleshooting purposes.

To install the latest minor version, proceed as instructed (Install PlanogramBuilder).

Note: Features introduced in minor versions are not documented in the user guide until the next major version.
